TheMathWorksAutomotiveAdvisoryBoardTheMathWorksAutomotiveAdvisoryBoard(MAAB)wasoriginallyestablishedtocoordinatefeaturerequestsfromseveralkeycustomersintheautomotiveindustry.TheinauguralmeetinginJuly1998involvedFord,DaimlerBenz,andToyota.TheMAABisanindependentboardthatdevelopsguidelinesforusingMATLAB®,Simulink®,Stateflow®andEmbeddedCoder®.MathWorkshoststheguidelines,butdoesnotcreatethem.TodevelopVersion3.0oftheguidelines,theMAABusedMathWorksRelease11b.ModelAdvisorchecksincludedinSimulinkCheckweredevelopedusingVersion3.0oftheMAABguidelinesandareverifiedforeachMathWorkssoftwarerelease.MAABmeetingsnowinvolvemanyofthemajorautomotiveOEMsandsuppliers,andfocusontheusageandenhancementsofMathWorkscontrols,simulation,andcodegenerationproductsincludingSimulink,Stateflow,andEmbeddedCoder.
