利用堆积法制作出Nd掺杂的磷酸盐玻璃双芯光纤(TCF)。
结合管棒法,设计一种能够任意调节芯径与芯间距比例的制备方法。
激光实验采用808nm激光二极管(LD)作为抽运源,以长为6cm,外径为620μm的TCF作为增益介质,宽带高反双色镜和TCF另一端的菲涅耳反射形成的F-P腔作为激光谐振腔。
抽运功率大于阈值时,CCD观察到清晰的远场干涉条纹,表明得到自锁相激光输出。
激光最大输出功率达到52mW,对应斜率效率为27.1%,并研究了不同抽运功率时,TCF激光的光谱性能。

分析了熔体提拉法生长Ho∶Tm∶YLF晶体过程中熔体表面漂浮物的产生原因,以及晶体中散射颗粒、孪晶和开裂的成因。
通过精心设计对称性温场,并调整温场、优化生长工艺参数,有效消除了晶体中的散射颗粒,克服了晶体开裂。
采取在生长气氛中加入一定量CF4等工艺措施有效减少了熔体表面上的氟氧化物漂浮物,克服了漂浮物对生长晶体的影响,生长出了尺寸为(25~30)mm×(100~120)mm的高品质HoTmYLF晶体。
HoTmYLF晶体激光性能测试表明,在LD双端抽运条件下获得了超过10W的2.05μm激光输出,激光斜率效率达到41.2%,光光转换效率达到36.4%。

报道了一个内腔式连续波、单谐振1.9μm和2.4μm双波长激光输出的光参量振荡器(OPO)。
实验采用单管半导体激光二极管(LD)抽运掺钕钒酸钇(NdYVO4)晶体,腔内抽运掺氧化镁的周期性极化铌酸锂(PPMgLN)晶体,得到1.9μm和2.4μm双波长连续激光输出。
在室温下,当LD功率为5.5W时,同时获得了750mW、1.9μm波长的信号光和370mW、2.4μm波长的闲频光输出,光光转换效率分别为13.6%和6.7%,总的转换效率达到了20%以上。
测试5h,功率不稳定性小于1.8%。
另外还对不同长度的PPMgLN晶体进行了阈值和转换效率的特性分析。
通过输出波长稳定性测试发现,对晶体的温度进行更好地控制,可以改善波长漂移的现象。
