OmniVision'sOV16860isahighperformance16-megapixelPureCel®Plus-Simagesensordesignedforhigh-endsmartphonesandactioncameras.Comparedtopreviousgeneration16-megapixelsensors,theOV16860deliversimprovedlow-lightperformanceandfasterreadoutarchitecturewithalarger1.3-micronpixel,enablingfullresolutionrecordingat45framespersecond(fps).Thesensoralsosupportsadvancedfeaturessuchashighdynamicrange(HDR),andphasedetectionautofocus(PDAF).OmniVision'snewPureCel®Plus-Sarchitectureandlargerpixelsizeofferanumberofpixelperformanceimprovementsovertraditional1.12-micron16-megapixelsensors,includinga33percentimprovementinfull-wellcapacity,a40percentimprovementinlowlightperformanceanddramaticallyreducedpixelcrosstalk.The1/2.4-inchOV16860supportshigh-qualityslowmotionvideocapturewithfullfieldofview(FOV).Thesensorcancapture16-megapixelimagesandvideoat45fps,ultra-highresolution4K2Kvideoat60fps,and1080phighdefinition(HD)videoat120fpsviahighspeedD-PHYandC-PHYinterfaces.Additionally,theOV16860combinesadvanceprocessanddesignoptimizationtoenablenominaloperatingdigitalvoltage(DVDD)specof1.2V.
